to the geographical centre of the UK, Rheged is easy to get to.
MapBy Road: Just 2 minutes for the M6 (J.40) at Penrith. Or from the
Central Lakes takes the A%92 over the Kirkstone Pass. FREE parking.
By Rail: Just a 3-minute ride from Penrith Railway Station which is
on the West Coast Main Line with regular trains to London and
Glasgow. For National Rail Enquiries call 08457 484950.
By Bus: Catch the X4 or X5, a regular service running from Penrith
to Keswick to Workington. The bus stops at Rheged's main entrance.
By Air: Rheged is less than a 2 hour drive from Manchester Airport.
Outside of our Events programme, regular opening hours are 10am to
5.30pm every day except Christmas Day. Entry to the building and
parking for visitors is free. Rheged also has a 24hr Total Petrol
Station and shop on site.
