National Mountaineering Exhibition

This is the creation of the British Mountaineering Council and the Mountain Heritage Trust and was compiled with the help of many of Britain's best climbers - true experts in the history and heritage of this spectacular and challenging sport. Sir Chris Bonington, one of the world's greatest mountaineers, invites you to reach new heights at The National Mountaineering Exhibition. Come along and experience the incredible story of mountaineering and meet the intrepid climbers who have risked their lives over the years. Through an innovative and lively mix of state-of-the-art audio-visual and interactive displays, breathtaking photography and historical artefacts, you'll find yourself transported to the top of the world.
